One, two… skip a few! 🦊 It’s been a minute since our last blog post (okay, almost three years 😅), and a LOT has happened. So here’s the big catch-up: Steve is our new drummer, we have a brand-new website, we’ve passed 1,000 followers on Facebook, and this year we played our 100th show! We also revamped our studio room, and we’ve been adding new covers and writing more originals. Let’s dig in!

First things first: please give a big Fat Fox welcome to Steve, our new drummer!
Steve reached out to us after a post we made looking for a drummer — we tried four or five different folks before landing on the one!
The rest of the crew is still right here: Kali out front on vocals and keys, Tommy on guitar, and Brian holding it down on bass. With Steve behind the kit, the shows have a fresh kick to them, and we can’t wait for you to hear it in person!
And judging by this photo, Steve might already be training up the next generation… 😄

Thank You, Rory!
With a new drummer comes a goodbye, too. Rory has stepped back as our full-time drummer. Rory, thank you for every beat, every gig and every laugh along the way! The good news: he’s not going far. Rory is still around to sub for us sometimes, so you may well catch him behind the kit again. 🙌
Our 100th Show at Live @ 5! 🎉
Here’s one we’re still smiling about: Live @ 5 this year marked our 100th show! One hundred times loading in, plugging in and rocking out with you. What a way to hit it!

1,000 Facebook Followers! ❤️
This one is all YOU. Back in our 2023 look back, we were celebrating just over 750 followers on Facebook. Now we’ve passed 1,000!
We’ve always said it: we never artificially inflate our numbers. Every follower came from friends telling friends, folks stumbling onto one of our shows, or someone hitting “follow” after a great night out. So THANK YOU for liking, commenting, sharing and showing up! More followers helps us reach more people, so keep inviting your friends. 🙌
A Brand-New Website!
You might have noticed things look a little different around here. That’s because we built a brand-new website! (Some of you may remember our last website launch back in 2021!)
It’s your one-stop spot for everything Fat Fox: see where we’re playing next, hear our music (including our latest single, Running From Something), get to know the band on our About page, visit the shop, and book us for your party, wedding or event, with the full band or Slim Fox, our acoustic duo.
A Revamped Studio Room
We also gave our studio room a whole new look! It’s where we practice and work out new songs, and now it glows. 🌈
That’s the Roland electronic kit lit up with rainbow LED rings, our neon fox sign glowing in the middle, strips of light along the ceiling and acoustic panels on the walls. A fun room to walk into, and an even more fun room to play in!
New Songs in the Set! 🎸
We’ve been busy adding new covers, and we just debuted a batch of them at a recent wedding gig. They’re on the setlist for our next show at Sports Page, too!
We haven’t stopped writing, either! You may have seen our promo for Free of You popping up lately, and we still love slipping originals like The Other Side into the set.
Looking Ahead to 2027
With Steve on drums, a new website, a glowing studio, a bigger Fat Fox family and a growing setlist, we’re heading into 2027 more excited than ever! If there’s somewhere you want to see us, ask the venue to book Fat Fox, or reach out and tell us!
Before then, we’re ringing in the new year on Thursday, Dec 31 at Eagles of Prosser in Prosser at 9:00 PM. You can always see what’s coming on our shows page.
