Questions hosts ask

The things party hosts ask us most.

Can you play in our backyard?
Yes. A flat spot about 15 by 10 feet for the full band (8 by 5 for Slim Fox) and one outlet is all it takes, and we'll set the volume for your space.
How much room and power do you need?
For the full band, a flat space about 15 by 10 feet; for Slim Fox, about 8 by 5. Either way, one standard 120-volt outlet is all the power we need.
How long do you play?
Usually sets of about 50 minutes, with a 15-minute break between them. We're flexible, so we'll fit your party: dinner, toasts, cake.
Do you bring your own sound and lights?
Yes: a top-tier Yamaha sound system, with microphones for toasts and speeches, and our own stage lights. If your venue has its own sound system, we can plug into that too.
Can we request songs?
Yes! Pick your favorites from our song list and we'll play them.
Will you learn a song for us?
Yes! The first song we learn for you is included, and each one after that is $100, for the rehearsal it takes. Tell us as early as you can.
Do you travel?
Yes! Travel is a flat fee by how far away you are:
  • Included: Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, Benton City, Burbank, Finley and Prosser
  • $100: Walla Walla, College Place, Milton-Freewater, Hermiston, Umatilla, Echo, Connell, Grandview, Sunnyside, and other towns about as far
  • $200: up to about an hour and a half away, like Pendleton and Yakima
  • $400: up to about three hours away, like Spokane, plus hotel rooms when the night ends late
Farther than that, we'll quote it.
How do we hold our date?
A simple agreement and a 25% deposit hold your date; the rest is due a week before your event.
How do we pay?
However is easiest for you: cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or a card.

Kali Bryan

Vocals & Keys

Kali Bryan

Kali is the lead vocalist/keyboard player for the band Fat Fox.

Singing has always been a passion for Kali since she was young. While her love for music was influenced by both her parents, it was her mother who passed on her singing skills and abilities, while her dad provided the encouragement. A majority of her ability to sing and harmonize came from singing along with her parents and siblings during church services growing up.

Kali has been the lead vocalist in other bands, Petrichord and Laika Launched, before forming with Fat Fox.

Outside of music, Kali is a mother to two boys and five dogs. She has been in the Air National Guard for 20 years as a Cyber System Operator and works as a substitute teacher in the local area. She has a love for travel and hanging out in the sun with a nice drink!

Musical Influences: Adele, Ruth B., Jewel, Shania Twain, Backstreet Boys, Vampire Weekend

Tommy Bryan

Guitar

Tommy Bryan

Tommy Bryan is a musician, songwriter, and primary guitarist for the band Fat Fox.

Tommy took a serious interest in guitar, inspired by his father, during his senior year of high school, during which time Tommy attended private lessons from locally renowned jazz guitar instructor John LaChapelle.

In 2007 Tommy joined (and continues to perform with) the “Tri-Cities Big Band” as their primary guitarist.

Tommy briefly formed the bands Petrichord and Laika Launched, before founding the band Fat Fox in 2019.

Outside of music, Tommy studied Electrical Engineering at Washington State University, is a Cyber Security Researcher at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and serves as a USAF Cyber Operations Officer in the Washington Air National Guard.

Musical Influences: Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, George Benson, Walk The Moon, MisterWives, Of Monsters and Men, Third Eye Blind

Brian Williams

Bass

Brian Williams

Brian is the primary bassist for the band Fat Fox.

Brian “The Bass Ghost” Williams has been a part of the Tri-Cities music scene since he was a teen. After studying music theory and performance at CBC he went on to play for close to a dozen different local bands. These include Cafe Blanco, The Golden Ponies, The Vaughn Jenson Band, Nuff Sed, Apophus, and most recently Fat Fox!

His influences are wide ranging, but he has modeled his playing after many great virtuoso bass guitarists.

Musical Influences: Jaco, Victor Wooten, Stu Hamm, Michael Manring, Billy Sheehan and many others!

Steve Stenberg

Drums

Steve Stenberg

Music runs in Steve’s family, and his passion for it has shaped his life for decades. Drums have always been his true instrument, though he plays guitar with real love as well. Steve has written, recorded, sang and produced many songs, playing every instrument himself.

His road started in his hometown of Tacoma, cutting his teeth on originals before moving onto covers. A move to Anchorage dropped him into a music scene on fire, where he founded Magic and spent years playing NCO clubs and events for major oil and airline companies. The kind of black-tie affairs with ice sculptures, shrimp cocktails, and live auctions. He also drummed for Bikes, to enter a talent search contest, and one of their original songs landed a spot on the Best of Alaska LP.

Steve later moved back to Tacoma and formed Kid Glove with former Bikes bandmates, spending years in the studio producing original music. From there, he joined 3 Hands, followed by Edgewood, and then BluesSlinger, three chapters that each produced a CD.

He closed out his Tacoma years in Brand X, holding down the local bar circuit.

In 2025, Steve moved to Pasco to be closer to family and auditioned for Fat Fox in 2026. This is where the next chapter begins.

Musical Influences Toto, Deep Purple, Bloodrock, Allman Brothers, to name just a few. He loves most music styles and often brings elements of progressive fusion into his own playing.

Drums · former member · 2021 – 2026

Rory Langdon

Rory is a former drummer for the band Fat Fox.

Rory started in music at the age of 8 with the piano. Entering middle school, he played many different instruments in the school orchestra. Moving into high school, Rory joined the marching band, eventually earning a spot on the drumline where he fell in love with the drums. During his senior year, the marching band went on to win multiple awards across the state, including best percussion and best overall band.

As his interests grew, Rory took a liking to audio production, attending Spokane Falls Community College in the Audio Engineering program. Rory has since opened his home recording studio, Studio Bonfire, and began working with clients as a recording engineer and producer and has worked with dozens of artists.

In 2016, Rory started a family of his own, marrying his longtime girlfriend Ashleigh, and moving away from his hometown of Spokane to Redmond WA, and then eventually to Northern California. The Langdons moved back to the Evergreen State in 2018 to be closer to family where Rory met the members of Fat Fox as their sound engineer. As the position of drummer became open, Rory was asked to take over the spot and was happy to become a part of the Fat Fox family.

In 2020, Rory went back to school to be a computer programmer and software engineer and has taken an interest in creating software for audio production.

Rory and Ashleigh welcomed their first child, Jameson, into the world in May 2021 and have since become dedicated parents and family people. They like staying in, watching Marvel movies, doing jigsaw puzzles, and eating pizza and ice cream. Rory also likes working out in his garage and getting swole.
